It is so important for all of us to have a connection with the world around us and to have a sense of freedom and autonomy.

At Venture we utilise the outdoor environment to create a calm space where people can learn at their own pace.

Mastering the art of fire lighting really does instil a sense of achievement and self belief.

Trekking around the woodland helps let off steam and gain a sense of freedom that all too often young people don't have.

For this programme we have teamed up with Greenpath Ventures - an outdoor skills charity that works with schools groups, people with mental health conditions, people suffering from addiction and other vulnerable groups. Their approach and skill set helps make Venture a unique experience for young people.

For Venture 2018 we are running 2 overnight survival camps, one on Mersea Island and the other in Raydon Great Wood.
