Volunteer fundraising

Volunteer to help with our fundraising events.

Throughout the year we may undertake fundraising events that need extra pairs of hands.

This may include help setting up the event on the day, visiting or contacting local businesses to ask for raffle prizes, or collecting donations in our donation buckets, collecting our donations boxes from local shops and businesses, or giving out leaflets that explain our work.

At other times, people organise fundraising events for us, but they need some extra pairs of hands on the day.

We can add you to our volunteer fundraising contact list and let you know what events we need help at. Contact the Porch Project M: 07811315667 or E: funding@porchproject.co.uk

Volunteer to organise a fundraising event yourself.

Think about all the people you know, your friends, family work colleagues, neighbours, business associates.

You’d be surprised just how many people you know and how many would help you raise money for something that you think is important. You could organise anything from a small coffee and cake morning or a wine tasting evening to a ball or challenge yourself by signing up for an event such as skydiving or running a marathon.

We can help promote your event on our news board, Facebook page and Twitter feed. We are happy to come along and give a short talk about the project’s work and its plans for the future.

People can donate via the Porch Project’s BT MyDonate page. Or you can create your own BT MyDonate fundraising page for the project using the link above.

Contact the Porch Project M: 07811315667 or E: funding@porchproject.co.uk and let us know what you are planning.
