Our evening drop-in sessions
Our evening drop-in sessions on a Friday are a safe place to hang out, socialise with existing friends and meet new friends. There is a Playstation4 and XboxOne, sounds system, table tennis, pool, board and card games. There’s also food and drink!
We currently work in Hadleigh High and Thomas Gainsborough High Schools on a regular basis providing drop in sessions and one-2-one coaching.
We also work with local primary schools, offering talks and taster sessions for the Project.
We are working in a secondary school delivering an early intervention programme for young men called Shift-M. This is a 5 week programme that helps young men as they transition through the teen years. The aim is to 'shift MENtalities' and promote healthy male role models. Mental health and well being is a great concern particularly amongst young men. We look at; misconceptions of 'being a man', Assertion vs Aggression, the boys don't cry myth, Emotions and self-expression, Resilience, Healthy relationships and Aspirations
The c-card scheme is aimed at young people between 13-24 years of age who can register to get information and advice on sex and relationships as well as free condoms, femidoms and lubricant. The aim of the service is to promote healthy and safe relationships and help young people to access local services.
